For example, Shenzhen Damoda Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the field. It has participated in many major events and shows, and even set Guinness World Records with its large-scale drone performances. In 2024, Damoda deployed over 10,000 drones at Shenzhen Bay Park to create a dazzling display, setting records for “most drones simultaneously airborne under the control of a single computer” and “most drones forming an aerial image”.

The Charm of China Drone Shows
China drone shows are not only about technological prowess but also about creativity and cultural expression. These shows often incorporate elements of Chinese culture, such as traditional Chinese patterns, historical stories, and cultural symbols, making them a unique way to showcase China’s rich heritage to the world.

For instance, during the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Bangladesh diplomatic ties, a grand drone light show was held in front of the National Parliament House in Dhaka. Over 2,500 drones lit up the sky, forming 12 creative patterns, including Bangladesh’s national flower, the water lily, and symbolic representations of the China-Bangladesh friendship, such as the Chinese dragon and the Bengal tiger. This not only demonstrated the high level of China’s drone technology but also promoted cultural exchanges between the two countries.
